It took me one bite of their famous baklava to understand why so many people flock to Sadaf Restaurant. Immediately, I noticed the delicate, flaky layers giving way to the delicious pistachio nut center that was not overly sweet.

The pastry chefs at Sadaf Restaurant do an amazing job of balancing flavors. The honey syrup and cardamom were both present and complimented each other perfectly – it was a match made in heaven!

I also had the chance to try their unique variations like rosewater baklava and Halawet el Jibn- which is filled with sweet cheese and topped with mixed nuts. Both were equally as delicious as the original!

I've had the pleasure of trying their baklava and it is truly exceptional. The layers are thin and crunchy, with just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. The presentation was really beautiful; they use pistachios to garnish the edges which is a nice touch.

The first thing I noticed upon entering Shawarma Shack was the sugary sweet smell of baklava. After sampling their delicious walnut and pistachio versions, it was clear to me this was not just any ordinary baklava. The flavor was rich and nutty, with layers of flaky phyllo dough providing an unforgettable texture.
