Oculto 477's drinks really hit the spot for me. Not only do they offer a wide array of craft beers and cocktails, but their signature margaritas are some of the best I've had! Their prices are fair and their pool tables provide entertainment all night long.

Oculto 477 has a great crowd that makes the bar come alive! There's usually live music on the weekends, which adds to its inviting atmosphere. I found myself dancing until late in the evening and enjoying conversations with locals and travelers alike.

El Dorado Cocktail Lounge

The Tipsy Crow

The Tipsy Crow has three different levels that include a restaurant, bar and lounge. The bar is full of all your favorite drinks and brews. The atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable with modern yet cozy vibes.

I especially liked the selection of local craft beers! There are over 20 draft beers on the menu to satisfy everyone's taste. From IPAs to lagers, they have it all!

Their food menu is also quite impressive. From sliders to tacos, there is something for everyone on their menu.

The staff at The Tipsy Crow also deserve a shout-out for providing excellent customer service. They are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help with any questions you might have about the establishment or drinks being served.

The Field Irish Pub

Atmosphere: From the moment I stepped inside The Field, I was met with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The cozy décor and rustic charm of the pub creates a relaxing and enjoyable environment to enjoy a beer or two. Plus, the staff are extremely friendly and attentive.

Drinks: The drinks selection at The Field is nothing short of impressive - from craft beers to traditional Irish ales, ciders, whiskey and more; there's something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Guinness Stout - it's always poured to perfection!

Food: The food at The Field is delicious and they serve a nice selection of both pub grub as well as some traditional Irish dishes. Their burgers and fish & chips are especially tasty but be sure not to miss out on their famous Shepard’s Pie.

El Agave Restaurant & Tequileria

The atmosphere of El Agave is perfect for a night out. With bold murals and ornate furniture throughout the restaurant, it adds to the charm of the atmosphere. In addition, the bar even has an outdoor patio with plenty of seating area which I find to be an added bonus.

The beer selection at El Agave is impressive to say the least! All of their beers are imported from nearby areas like Baja California and each one has its own unique flavor. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers available, which is great for those who want to learn more about Mexican craft beers.

Finally, what takes El Agave over the top for me as one of the best bars in Old Town San Diego are all their unique tequilas, mescals and mezcales. They have so many options to choose from that it makes it hard to decide what I should order first! From traditional Mexican drinks like sangria and margaritas, to creative concoctions like house cocktails and agave-based drinks, there's something for everyone here.

In conclusion, I highly recommend El Agave Restaurant & Tequileria if you're looking for a place that serves up delicious drinks with an unforgettable atmosphere. It's definitely one of my favorite places for happy hour or a night out in Old Town San Diego!
