The Absolute Best Beaches in North San Diego County [Updated 2024]

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

I've found that Safari Park is a great place to relax and take in some beautiful sights. The landscapes are amazing, with rolling sand dunes, lush green grasslands, and breathtaking mountain views from the top of Elephant Hill.

Oceanside Harbor Department

The beaches here are incredibly pristine and well-maintained with plenty of amenities to make my stay enjoyable. I found the white sand and crystal clear oceanic waters to be a calming experience that I wished would never end. It's easy to find a spot thanks to the carefully-planned and spaced out beach areas. The department goes above and beyond by providing bathrooms and showers, as well as fire pits for those who like roasting marshmallows in the night! Parking

I've been to many beaches since I was young and I can honestly say that Parking stands out from all the rest. The facilities are top-notch, with lots of parking and easy access to food, restrooms and shops.

The beach itself is quite large and there's plenty of space for swimming, sunbathing, volleyball or just relaxing on the shore. The sand is soft beneath your feet as you walk along it and the waves are refreshingly cool.

The water surrounding the beach is crystal clear and perfect for boating or fishing. There are plenty of places like jetties where people can cast their line in search of a big one.

The views from Parking are breathtaking too! You can see for miles around, with gorgeous hues of blue in every direction. Whether it's a sunrise, sunset or merely during the day, each moment at this beach is truly mesmerizing and unforgettable.
